A lightning strike on the outskirts of Jammu city caused substantial damage to a house on Monday. The family of three inside the residence emerged unharmed, according to local officials.
The incident unfolded in the village of Dhinady Khurd, within Bishnah tehsil, near Jammu city at approximately 7:30 am. A pronounced blast sound accompanied the striking event.
Sansar Chand, the homeowner, reported the destruction of electrical gadgets, the home's wiring, and the roof. Thankfully, Chand, his wife, and their son avoided physical harm.
