Ample Parks, a collaboration between global sustainable infrastructure investor Actis and Mahindra Lifespaces, has inaugurated its first Grade-A industrial and logistics park in Chennai. This initiative marks a significant step in enhancing the industrial infrastructure in the city.

Located at the Mahindra World City, Singaperumal Koil, the grand project boasts an investment of Rs 800 crore, intending to cover 71 acres. This development is set to generate approximately 11,000 jobs and aims for an annual revenue stream of Rs 110 crore. Presently the largest Grade-A offering within the Domestic Tariff Area, the site provides about 2.1 million square feet of leasable space, catering to the growing demand for high-quality industrial facilities.

Unique to Ample Parks' development is its commitment to sustainability, meeting half of its power needs through renewable sources. Expanding beyond Chennai, there are plans to establish similar hubs in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Pune, accounting for the increasing demand for logistics real estate spurred by rising manufacturing tasks. Further expansions into cities such as Lucknow and Nagpur are also planned as part of their growth strategy.
