Heavy showers swept across the national capital on Tuesday morning, leaving several areas in south and southwest Delhi waterlogged. The weather department has forecasted more rain throughout the day, cautioning residents of potential disruptions.
Temperatures were recorded at a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius, typical for this time of year, while the maximum was predicted to peak at around 35 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels stood at a notable 83% at 8.30 am, potentially contributing to the clammy weather.
The Central Pollution Control Board noted the city's air quality to be in the 'moderate' category, with the Air Quality Index reading at 103. The index categorizes air quality from 'good' to 'severe' based on a range of scores, with current levels bordering on 'moderate' at 101-200.
