The bodies of three fishermen were found after their boat capsized off Raigad, Maharashtra due to rough weather. Search and rescue teams, including local police and the Coast Guard, recovered the bodies after deploying drones in extensive search operations.

The boat departed from Karanja in Uran for a fishing trip near Alibaug. Heavy rains caused the boat to capsize, leaving the fishermen no choice but to swim to safety. Out of eight fishermen, five managed to reach shore safely.

The deceased, Naresh Ram Shelar, Dhiraj Koli, and Mukesh Patil—residents of Uran—were sent to the district civil hospital for postmortem examinations, confirming the tragic end of their journey.
