Aid Crisis Intensifies Amid Gaza Conflict
The worsening hunger crisis in Gaza prompts U.N. agencies to call for continuous aid supply, as Israel eases restrictions under international pressure. Despite dispatching 60 aid trucks, shortages persist. Over 470,000 face famine-like conditions. Unauthorized looting hampers efforts. Ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas remain unresolved.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza has grown dire as U.N. agencies urge sustained aid to counter the escalating hunger crisis. Israel, facing global outcry over distressing images from the enclave, has eased restrictions, allowing more humanitarian efforts.
Despite these measures, the World Food Programme indicates that current aid deliveries fall short. Samer AbdelJaber, the regional director, states that while 60 trucks have recently been delivered, the target is 100 trucks daily to meet the pressing needs of Gaza's population.
Unauthorized looting of aid trucks has been reported, creating additional challenges. Meanwhile, Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu maintains that aid will continue despite ongoing conflict, and blames Hamas for the region's plight, as ceasefire negotiations remain unsuccessful.
