According to the Meteorological Department, Punjab's Gurdaspur received the highest downpour of 96.7 mm in the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 am on Tuesday. Other significant rainfalls in the region included Ludhiana, Patiala, and Hoshiarpur.

Haryana also saw its fair share of precipitation with Narnaul and Rohtak recording substantial amounts. These rains have brought relief from the heat, but authorities are keeping a watchful eye on water levels to prevent flooding.
