In a concerning accident in Navi Mumbai, a speeding civic bus collided with pedestrians, injuring six individuals, police reported on Friday.
The incident took place around 9 pm on Thursday at Turbhe Naka when an electric bus from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) lost control.
The bus's driver, Pramod Ramesh Kanojia, has been charged with rash driving and causing harm, as police investigations suggest excessive speed as a primary factor.
Though none of the injured sustained critical injuries, the authorities are conducting forensic and mechanical inspections of the vehicle.
