Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta assured residents on Friday that no slums in the city will face demolition until permanent housing is provided to all occupants. This pledge was made during a seminar titled 'Growth Bhi, Green Bhi', aimed at discussing sustainable development strategies for the capital.

Highlighting the urgency of development, the Chief Minister stated her government's commitment to revamping Delhi's infrastructure, including education, healthcare, transportation, and environmental systems. Gupta emphasized the Prime Minister's vision for a progressing Delhi as key to national advancement, underlining that her ministers consistently work extensive hours towards this goal.

Additionally, Gupta announced the removal of outdated labor laws that restrict women from working night shifts, arguing in favor of women's right to choose and promising safer work environments. Reaffirming her commitment to improving the city's infrastructure and opportunities, Gupta declared Delhi's right to expedited development and enhanced quality of life.
