Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday focused on regional development during a review meeting in the Saharanpur division, specifically addressing challenges faced by MLAs from Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, and Shamli districts.
Adityanath emphasized the priority of rejuvenating the Saharanpur division while articulating the government's strategies for implementing development schemes effectively. Projects discussed included infrastructure enhancements like road connectivity and irrigation aimed at bolstering the local economy.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a Rs 2,517 crore integrated township project in Meerut. Named 'Atal Shatabdi' after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the township aims to transform Meerut into a hub of residential, industrial, and commercial infrastructure and create employment opportunities.
