The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a significant milestone with the awarding of its inaugural project under the Special License Property (SLP) scheme to Fleur Hotels, a Lemon Tree Hotels subsidiary.

This transformative project, a departure from traditional real estate approaches, is set to generate approximately Rs 10,000 crore over a span of 55 years, according to official statements on Saturday.

The award process, driven by a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued in May 2025, saw competitive bidding, culminating in an annual license fee of Rs 27.19 crore, significantly surpassing the Rs 18 crore reserve price. This initiative signifies a major policy shift facilitating substantial revenue generation and infrastructure development in the capital city.
