Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah issued a strong warning against wildlife killings amid recent incidents of tiger and elephant deaths in the state. Speaking during the valedictory of the 71st Wildlife Week at Vidhana Soudha, Siddaramaiah expressed Karnataka's commendable achievements in elephant and tiger populations. He emphasized the need for harmony between humans and wildlife, calling for scientific studies to mitigate conflicts.
State Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre announced the establishment of a solar power plant at Bannerghatta Biological Park, aiming to make it the first eco-friendly biological park in the country. The effort underscores Karnataka's commitment to environmental conservation amid challenges posed by climate change.
