A significant fire broke out at a chemical warehouse in Maharashtra's Thane district early Tuesday morning, leading to a dramatic firefighting mission lasting three hours.
The blaze, which occurred in Bhiwandi's Khadipar area around 9.30 am, filled the locality with acrid smoke. Fire crews from the Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation successfully controlled the inferno by 12.30 pm, with no injuries reported.
The fire's cause remains unknown, and investigators are on the scene. Eyewitnesses recounted seeing dense smoke and flames from a distance, while fire personnel contended with inadequate water supply during the operation.
