Rajasthan is battling extreme heatwave conditions as temperatures soared across the state, with Barmer recording a sweltering 46 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest spot. The MeT department reported that most regions surpassed the 40-degree mark, highlighting the intensity of the current heatwave.

Jaisalmer joined Barmer at 46 degrees Celsius, with other areas like Kota and Chittorgarh hitting 45.2 degrees Celsius. In Phalodi, temperatures reached 44.8 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Bikaner at 44.6 degrees Celsius.

With no immediate relief forecasted, Jodhpur and Pilani both faced 44.4 degrees Celsius, while Churu recorded 44.2 degrees Celsius.
