PM Modi's Sikkim Sojourn: Celebrating 50 Years of Statehood with New Initiatives
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Sikkim for a two-day tour to celebrate the state's 50th year of statehood. Activities include a roadshow and launching projects worth Rs 4,000 crore. Modi will inaugurate developments across various sectors and visit the new Orchidarium in Gangtok.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Sikkim on Monday for a highly anticipated two-day visit. A range of activities is planned, including a roadshow and the inauguration of projects valued at Rs 4,000 crore, marking Sikkim's 50 years of statehood.
Elaborate security measures have been implemented in Gangtok and surrounding areas in anticipation of Modi's visit. His itinerary includes a roadshow to Lok Bhawan upon his arrival at Libing helipad around 3 PM. The following day, the Prime Minister is scheduled to explore the Orchidarium in Gangtok.
Modi will launch multiple development projects spanning infrastructure, healthcare, education, and more across the state. He will also participate in the closing ceremony of the statehood anniversary at Paljor Stadium, addressing attendees to mark the occasion.
