Banda was the hottest place in UP at 45.8 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees above normal) followed by Prayagraj (43.4 degrees Celsius) and Orai (43.3 degrees Celsius). The forecast for Lucknow is partly cloudy sky with a few spells of rain and thundershowers. Maximum and minimum temperature will be around 34 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively. The meteorological department also said that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely at isolated places in western Uttar Pradesh as well as eastern Uttar Pradesh.
