Tragedy Strikes at Adityapur: Two Labourers Fall to Death
Two labourers, Ramu Murmu and Lakhindra Tiu, died after falling from a height of around 20 feet at an under-construction plant in Jharkhand's Adityapur Industrial Area. In a tragic incident at the Adityapur Industrial Area in Jharkhand, two labourers lost their lives after falling from a height of approximately 20 feet. The victims, identified as Ramu Murmu, 30, and Lakhindra Tiu, 28, were reportedly working at a construction site when the accident occurred.
According to Sanjeev Singh, officer-in-charge of RIT police station, the workers were wearing safety belts while engaged in construction for a private company. Unfortunately, they lost their balance and fell at an awkward angle, suffering severe injuries that led to their deaths.
The bodies were sent to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur for a post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased staged a protest at the site, demanding compensation. The factory management is being urged to provide financial assistance to the victims' families, authorities stated.
