India's Climate Ecosystem: Connecting the Dots at Scale

Over 350 participants and 100 speakers gathered at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi for the Climate Asia Annual Conference 2026, urging for scaled climate action. The event, themed 'Building India's Climate Ecosystem: Innovation, Talent, Leadership,' highlighted the need for a combined, grassroots approach to climate-related challenges.

With 6 roundtables and 11 panel discussions, experts discussed the shift from fragmented sectoral responses to linked solutions addressing livelihoods, health, and gender. Keynote speakers, including Dia Mirza and Deepali Khanna, emphasized the importance of storytelling, economic adaptation, and women-led grassroots initiatives in tackling climate change.

The conference also explored the potential of parametric insurance, energy policy integrations, and local community involvement in facilitating a just transition towards sustainability. The overarching goal is to foster greater alignment and accountability to leverage the existing building blocks of climate solutions.
