Rains Bring Respite from Scorching Heat in Rajasthan
Several regions in Rajasthan experienced rain and dust storms due to a western disturbance, offering relief from the intense heat. Srimadhopur had the highest rainfall, with various other regions experiencing light to moderate showers and thunderstorms, leading to a dip in temperatures across the state.

Rajasthan witnessed a welcome change in weather conditions as various parts of the state experienced rain and dust storms, influenced by a western disturbance. This brought a much-needed respite from the intense heat prevailing in the region.
According to the Meteorological Centre in Jaipur, Srimadhopur in Sikar district recorded the highest rainfall at 48 mm over the last 24 hours until 8.30 am. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds was recorded in isolated locations across the state during the same period.
The weather activity resulted in a noticeable dip in maximum temperatures throughout Rajasthan, with readings ranging from 30 to 43 degrees Celsius. Phalodi was the hottest at 43 degrees Celsius, while Jaipur, the state capital, recorded a temperature of 33.3 degrees Celsius.
