Tragedy in the Market: Tree Collapse Claims Lives in Odisha

In a heart-wrenching incident in Odisha's Koraput district, three women died, and one suffered injuries when a massive tree collapsed during thunderstorms.

This tragic event unfolded on Monday evening in Pedabayalu, Nandapur block, at a local market near the Andhra-Odisha border. Strong winds uprooted the tree, resulting in an unfortunate accident that took two lives instantly, with another succumbing in the hospital.

Local authorities, including Nandapur BDO Durga Prasad Dora and MLA Rama Chandra Kadam, visited the scene and extended their condolences, pledging government assistance to support the victims' families.
