Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to meet Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar in a bid to secure definitive approval for the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. State officials highlight the necessity of moving from in-principle clearance to formal sanction in order to expedite execution.
The tentative expansion plan entails three significant corridors, covering extensive routes that include the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Future City, Jubilee Bus Station to Medchal, and Jubilee Bus Station to Shamirpet. The comprehensive project aims to enhance connectivity and support urban growth across the region.
In addition to his discussions with the Union Minister, CM Reddy is also expected to engage with Congress party leaders during his visit to the national capital, reflecting the multifaceted nature of his agenda.
