Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar to expedite the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II project, estimated at Rs 38,595 crore.
During the meeting, Reddy emphasized the critical need to expand the metro network to match Hyderabad's urban expansion. He noted that the project, covering a 122.9 km stretch across seven corridors, has a detailed report already submitted.
The Chief Minister also proposed a joint venture between the Centre and the Telangana state, emphasizing the need for swift action to enhance commuter connectivity across the city.
