A tragic incident unfolded in Chhattisgarh's Durg district when four family members, including two minors, lost their lives in a devastating house fire. A subsequent explosion of a cooking gas cylinder intensified the catastrophe.
The incident took place in Kumhari town's Khapri Road area. Identified victims include Homdas Vaishnav, aged 40, Lakshmi Vaishnav, 18, Chandani, 17, and Gopika, only 2 years old.
Initial investigations suggest the fire erupted first, followed by the cylinder blast. Eyewitnesses reported that sparks from an adjacent electricity pole might have ignited the blaze. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the precise cause of the tragedy.
