In response to the ongoing energy crisis, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged citizens to judiciously manage their electricity usage.
Addressing a gathering commemorating Lucknow Municipal Corporation's anniversary, he noted that demand has surged to 33,000 MW, prompting the state to boost generation from 6,000 MW to 13,000 MW, with renewable sources contributing 10,000 MW.
He assured efforts to resolve power constraints while developing urban infrastructure projects, emphasizing the importance of citizen cooperation in tackling sanitation challenges.
