ACME Solar Secures Major Contract for Innovative Renewable Energy Project
ACME Solar has signed a significant 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh power project. This project, part of SECI's FDRE Tranche-VII tender, will leverage ACME's peak power capacity during non-solar hours, ensuring robust renewable energy supply.
ACME Solar has locked in a 25-year power purchase agreement with the state-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh power project. The landmark agreement is set to fortify India's renewable energy landscape.
The project will be integrated with ISTS substations, exploiting ACME Solar's current night-time connectivity in high irradiation zones. Assured peak power will be delivered during non-solar hours, with an annual availability guarantee of 85 per cent.
Awarded under SECI's FDRE Tranche-VII tender, this project marks a significant milestone in ACME Solar's journey, augmenting its extensive renewable energy portfolio and contributing towards India's sustainable energy goals.
