In a star-studded Big Bash League (BBL) Draft for Season 15, Pakistan's fast-bowling sensation, Shaheen Shah Afridi, emerged as the first overall pick, joining the Brisbane Heat. Shaheen Afridi, renowned for his left-arm swing and blistering pace, headlines a formidable lineup of Pakistani cricketers participating in this year's tournament. According to a press release from Cricket Australia, Afridi's impressive record includes 310 wickets in 222 T20 matches, boasting an average of 20.99.

In the prestigious Platinum category, other Pakistani stars also featured prominently: Melbourne Renegades secured wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, Melbourne Stars retained fast bowler Haris Rauf, and Sydney Sixers had previously pre-signed Babar Azam. This distinguished group underscores Pakistan's strong presence in the league.
