Hernan Crespo's Triumphant Return as Sao Paulo Coach
Hernan Crespo returns to Sao Paulo as their coach, following a successful tenure that saw him lead the team to a Brazilian Serie A championship in 2021. After a brief stint with Al-Ain, Crespo returns amid high expectations to replace Luis Zubeldia, aiming to restore the club's winning momentum.

Hernan Crespo is back at Sao Paulo's helm, marking his return as coach after guiding the team to a Brazilian Serie A championship four years ago. The former Argentina forward succeeds Luis Zubeldia, who exited after a challenging start to the season.
Club President Julio Casares expressed his enthusiasm, stating Crespo's familiarity and past success with the club make him an ideal match. Crespo previously coached Sao Paulo until October 2021 but departed after an unsatisfactory title defence.
Crespo's recent achievements include leading Al-Ain to the Asian Champions League Elite title. However, his tenure there ended after a sequence of poor performances, paving the way for his comeback to Sao Paulo.
