The French international missed Real Madrid's opening match against Al-Hilal, which concluded in a 1-1 draw. According to club sources, Mbappe has been isolated from his teammates since Tuesday and will not participate in the group stage games.
Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso suggested on Wednesday that Mbappe remains doubtful for their next match against Mexican team Pachuca, scheduled to take place on Sunday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
