Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel does not aim for a change in Iran's leadership, although it could be an unintended consequence of its actions. Speaking on Israel's Kan public television, Netanyahu emphasized that such a decision rests with the Iranian people.

Netanyahu underlined Israel's ability to eliminate Iran's nuclear infrastructure independently of U.S. involvement. He addressed speculation about potential cooperation with the U.S., stating President Donald Trump's decision to participate would be made within two weeks.

Military experts suggest Israel might require U.S. support, particularly with bunker-busting bombs, to target Iran's Fordow plant. Despite this, Netanyahu expressed confidence in Israel's capabilities to act autonomously, aligning strategic interests with those of the United States.
