Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers Moved to Qatar Amid Regional Unrest
The Women's Asian Cup qualifiers originally set to take place in Jordan have been postponed and relocated to Qatar due to the military conflict between Iran and Israel. Matches involving five teams will now occur in July, with further logistics to be announced by the Asian Football Confederation.

The upcoming Women's Asian Cup qualifiers, initially planned for next week in Jordan, have been postponed until July and relocated to Qatar. This decision comes in response to the aerial conflict between Iran and Israel, confirmed on Friday by the Asian Football Confederation.
Teams from Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Bhutan, and Singapore were originally scheduled to begin their matches on Monday, running through to July 5. These Group A qualifiers are now set from July 7 to 19 in Qatar, with specifics regarding venues and match timings to be provided by the regional authority.
The Football Association of Singapore previously announced that logistical issues and security concerns prompted the AFC to delay the matches. While qualifiers are set to proceed in other areas starting Monday, the draw for the finals remains on schedule for July 29, with the main tournament slated for March in Australia.
