Nuno Espirito Santo has committed to Nottingham Forest until 2028, following a remarkable season that saw the club qualify for a European competition for the first time since 1995-96. The Premier League team confirmed the contract extension on Saturday.
Nuno, a Portuguese manager with stints at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, joined Forest in December 2023. His leadership helped the club avoid relegation and achieve their best top-flight performance in decades, finishing seventh in the league.
Just missing out on a Champions League spot, Forest finished a point behind Newcastle United and will compete in the Conference League playoff round. Nuno expressed his delight at continuing with the team and highlighted the strong bond between the players, fans, and club staff.
