Jaipur to Host 5th Khelo India University Games in 2025

The sports community is abuzz with the announcement that Jaipur will host the upcoming fifth edition of the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) in November 2025. Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya revealed that over 4,000 students are slated to participate in this eagerly anticipated event, which will feature competitions in at least 20 sports disciplines.
Poornima University and Rajasthan University will jointly organize the under-25 multi-sport event. The Khelo India University Games offer a significant platform for athletes seeking national exposure and the chance to capture the attention of scouts searching for emerging talents.
In the previous KIUG edition, Chandigarh University emerged victorious in the team championships, while Lovely Professional University and Guru Nanak Dev University clinched the second and third positions respectively. The 2024 Games saw intense competition among 4,500 athletes across 20 sports, marking a successful sporting event in North-east India.
