Shooting Stars: Suruchi and Niraj Dominate National Trials

In an impressive demonstration of skill and precision, Suruchi Inder Singh continued to shine at the National Selection Trials held in Raipur. She secured first place in both the final and qualification rounds of the T3 10m Pistol Women's event, surpassing her competitors with standout scores, including a final tally of 245.6 that put her ahead of 2018 Youth Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker.
The trials also saw Navy marksman Niraj Kumar achieve a remarkable double in the 50m 3 Positions Men's event, prevailing in the fiercely contested T4 stage. His performance was marked by a final score of 463, two points clear of Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, while World Championship medalist Akhil Sheoran secured third.
In the 10m Air Pistol Men's T3 final, Samrat Rana emerged victorious with a dramatic final shot, securing his win with a score of 241.7, just edging out Saurabh Chaudhary. These trials showcased the depth of talent and competitiveness among India's shooters.
