Albiach, 32, joined the Highlanders in 2023 and quickly became a pivotal figure, contributing significantly with five goals and three assists in his debut season.

Under his influence, the team engineered a commendable comeback in the 2023-24 season, narrowly missing the playoffs by a single point while finishing in seventh place. His efforts continued into the 2024-25 season, culminating in a historic triumph as NorthEast United clinched their first-ever Durand Cup title.

Albiach's statistics are notable: 45 ISL appearances, 11 goals, and four assists.
