Sweden's hopes in the Women's Euro tournament received a significant boost on Thursday with the return of Fridolina Rolfo to training. The skilled attacker had been sidelined due to a foot injury but was declared fit just in time for the opening Group C match against Denmark.

The 31-year-old winger participated in passing drills alongside her teammates, showcasing a positive progression in her recovery. The national team's doctor, Houman Ebrahimi, confirmed her progress, stating that Rolfo is now ready to rejoin the field with the team.

National team coach Peter Gerhardsson affirmed Rolfo's inclusion in the Swedish European Championship squad, leading to reserve player Matilda Vinberg's departure. Vinberg had been on standby in Switzerland in case Rolfo was unable to recover in time for the tournament.
