Harry Singh, following in the footsteps of his illustrious father, former Indian pacer Rudra Pratap Singh, delivered a standout performance in the One-Day Cup match against Sussex held in Hove. Representing Lancashire, the team displayed a solid start thanks to the opening batting duo of Michael Jones and George Bell.

However, the team experienced a precarious situation as they lost quick wickets, collapsing from 157/0 to 186/3. It was then that the 21-year-old Harry Singh emerged prominently, rescuing his team from the brink. His classical stroke play was instrumental and allowed him to score his maiden List A half-century in just 44 balls, which included three fours and three sixes.

Previously, in nine innings, Singh's highest score was 33. His latest triumph saw him score 74 off 61 balls, demonstrating significant growth. Not just a batsman, Singh also bowled six overs of off-spin. With a cricketing pedigree from both his father and his sister, who also represents Lancashire in T20s, Singh's future in cricket appears promising.
