Kriish Tyagi from Bengaluru stands as India's only representative at the US Open Junior Tennis Championships 2025. Scheduled to begin on August 31, Tyagi aspires for a strong showing, drawing confidence from dedicated training and a remarkable debut at the Wimbledon Junior Championships.

Before Wimbledon, Tyagi was limited in training due to travel and tournament commitments. For the US Open, he prioritized physical, mental, and skillful training. "I want to bring strength and mental resilience to the US Open," Tyagi, aged 18, told the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association before leaving for the US.

Tyagi, who has quickly risen through the tennis ranks, is currently India's No.1 junior player. His Wimbledon experience, particularly a doubles partnership with South Africa's Connor Doig, where they reached the quarterfinals, highlighted his potential. Reflecting on the journey, Tyagi remains unfazed by pressure, emphasizing his enjoyment of the challenge.
