Yuvraj Sandhu Leads PGTI Players Championship at Clover Greens
Yuvraj Sandhu extended his lead at the PGTI Players Championship 2025 with a four-under 67. Udayan Mane scored 65 to tie for second with Subash Tamang. Teenager Veer Ganapathy was the sole amateur to make the cut. Sandhu overcame physical challenges to remain at the top at 12-under 130.

Yuvraj Sandhu from Chandigarh delivered a stunning performance with a second-round score of four-under 67, reinforcing his lead by two strokes at the prestigious Rs. 1 crore Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) Players Championship 2025 at the Clover Greens Golf Course & Resort near Hosur, Tamil Nadu, according to PGTI.
With a total of 12-under 130, Sandhu, a three-time winner this season, maintained his lead despite physical setbacks. Meanwhile, Olympian and Pune golfer Udayan Mane surged upward with the day's best score of 65, sharing the second spot with Nepal's Subash Tamang, both at 10-under 132. The 2023 All India Amateur champion, Tamang, is in pursuit of his first title.
Teen golfer Veer Ganapathy, based in Bengaluru, was the lone amateur to clear the cut, situated at tied 21st with a score of three-under 139. Sandhu's journey was marked by early struggles on the front-nine but a formidable comeback on the back-nine. Despite a late finish and lack of sleep, Sandhu expressed satisfaction with his performance. Udayan Mane executed an impressive round with an eagle and seven birdies, almost achieving a hole-in-one on the 14th. (ANI)
