Teenage sensation Franco Mastantuono achieved a significant milestone by becoming the youngest player to start for Real Madrid in a Champions League match, as confirmed by UEFA.

At just 18 years and 33 days, Mastantuono debuted in Madrid's league phase opener against Marseille at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. His feat broke the previous record held by Endrick at 18 years, 73 days.

Mastantuono, who transferred from River Plate for €45 million, quickly won over fans with his agility. He nearly scored twice during the match, receiving warm applause despite being substituted in the 63rd minute.
