Barcelona Shifts to Lluís Companys for PSG Clash Amid Camp Nou Delays

Barcelona's eagerly anticipated Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain will be staged at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, following construction delays at their permanent home, Camp Nou, the club announced on Friday.

The Spanish giants, initially set to relocate back to an upgraded Camp Nou this season, have been compelled to adapt their plans due to ongoing renovations. The Lluís Companys, with its 55,000-seat capacity, will now host PSG, after Barcelona previously played against Valencia at the 6,000-capacity Estadi Johan Cruyff, located on the city's outskirts.

European champions PSG, fresh off their title run with former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, are slated to visit on October 1 for the Champions League's second round. Meanwhile, Barcelona remains actively engaged in securing necessary permits to unveil the new Camp Nou in the near future.
