Lando Norris made a strong comeback from a Friday crash by clocking the fastest lap during Saturday's final practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The McLaren driver led the pack with a time of one minute 41.223 seconds, surpassing Red Bull champion Max Verstappen by 0.222 seconds.
Close on Norris's heels was McLaren's Oscar Piastri, who finished third in the hour-long session at the Baku City Circuit. The 6.003km track saw gusty winds making conditions challenging as drivers sought slipstream advantages.
Lewis Hamilton, racing for Ferrari, secured fourth place, ahead of young Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli and teammate George Russell. The stage is set for a competitive qualifying session, with Ferrari and Red Bull vying to challenge McLaren's dominance.
