Victory in Adversity: Dean Mascarenhas Shines at WRC3 Debut

Indian rally driver Dean Mascarenhas, alongside his co-driver Gagan Karumbaiah, demonstrated remarkable resilience during their first appearance in the WRC3 class at the Rally Islas Canarias. Despite encountering difficulties with brakes, the pair managed to secure a commendable seventh-place finish in their category.
Operating a Ford Fiesta Rally 3, prepared by PH Sport, Mascarenhas and Karumbaiah completed the race ranking 48th overall. Overcoming mechanical challenges was a significant part of their journey, but the team concentrated on the invaluable experience gained in each stage.
Mascarenhas expressed his satisfaction post-race, noting the importance of adapting and learning along the progression of the rally. He highlighted that every kilometer driven contributed to their growing understanding and expertise in the sport.
