The Delhi Capitals clinched a dramatic victory over the Punjab Kings, thanks to half-centuries from skipper Axar Patel and David Miller. The win kept their faint IPL playoff hopes alive.
Being put in to bat, PBKS capitalized on a solid 78-run opening partnership between Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. Shreyas Iyer's impressive 59 not out further boosted their total, leading to a competitive 210 for five.
However, the Capitals bounced back despite early setbacks. Patel and Miller's formidable stand pushed DC ahead, with help from Ashutosh Sharma and Madhav Tiwari, allowing them to reach an impressive 219 for seven in just 19 overs.
