Tragic End: Constable Found Dead Amidst Mental Struggles

A tragic incident unfolded in Barabanki's Masauli area when 28-year-old police constable Shilpi Yadav was found hanging in her room at the PAC battalion premises. Police reports indicate a suicide note, citing mental depression, was recovered at the scene.

Shilpi Yadav, who hailed from Etawah's Jaswantnagar area, joined the police department in 2016 under the sports quota as a fencing player. She was on temporary duty for fencing practice with the 10th Battalion PAC in Barabanki. Her last whereabouts were having dinner with colleagues the night before her death.

Officials are treating the case as a suicide, with Senior Police Superintendent Arpit Vijayvargiya and Additional SP Vikas Chandra Tripathi leading the investigation. Further conclusions await a post-mortem report and examination of the suicide note.
