Morocco has announced a series of warm-up matches ahead of next month's World Cup, providing newly appointed coach Mohamed Ouahbi additional opportunities to prepare his team. Ouahbi took the helm in March after Walid Regragui's resignation and has overseen two matches, resulting in a draw against Ecuador and a win over Paraguay.
According to Morocco's football federation, the team will face Burundi in a closed-door match on May 26 at their training center in Sale. This will be followed by an encounter with Madagascar in Rabat on June 2, allowing fans to bid the team farewell before they depart.
Upon reaching their base camp in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Morocco will wrap up their friendly fixtures with a game against Norway on June 7 in New York. Preparations are set to commence on May 22, with the squad announcement expected a week later. In Group C, Morocco will meet Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
