The Lanka Premier League (LPL) has revealed a dazzling lineup of marquee signings prior to the Season 6 player draft on June 1. The standout signing is India's all-rounder, Vijay Shankar, who joins Kandy Royals. Moeen Ali of England and Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan are also among the top retained players.
Shankar, who represented India at the 2019 ICC World Cup, is renowned for taking a wicket with his first delivery in the tournament. He joins a powerful Kandy team alongside Moeen Ali and Sri Lankan stars like Angelo Mathews and Wanindu Hasaranga, as teams solidify their squads for the July 17-August 8 season.
