Attending the review were Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and senior officials. Shah highlighted the Modi administration's commitment to developing state-of-the-art sports facilities in India, underscoring the strategic significance of proposed world-class competitions.
Shah shared on X that these comprehensive assessments were crucial for advancing sports infrastructure projects in Ahmedabad. With its bid positioned for the 2036 Olympics, the city is also confirmed to host the upcoming Commonwealth Games in 2030.
