In a thrilling display of skill and speed, Raul Fernandez claimed his first-ever MotoGP sprint victory at the Italian Grand Prix. Riding with determination, Fernandez managed to outpace Aprilia's Jorge Martin, crossing the finish line more than a second ahead of the competition.
Despite starting second on the grid, Fernandez quickly gained the lead halfway through the opening lap and maintained his position with unwavering focus, resisting Martin's late charge.
The triumph was particularly sweet for Fernandez, serving as redemption after a dramatic clash with Martin at the earlier Catalan Grand Prix that saw both riders crash out. VR46 Racing's Fabio Di Giannantonio took third place, with championship leader Marco Bezzecchi and Ducati's Marc Marquez completing the top five.
