Sony Pictures Networks India has ushered in a new era of digital innovation by appointing Mukund Acharya as its Chief Technology Officer. The announcement was made on Thursday, marking a significant shift in the company's technological strategy.
Acharya joins SPNI from Disney+ Hotstar, where he held the position of Head of Engineering. With an impressive 29-year track record in technology leadership, he is no stranger to delivering large-scale digital transformations.
As CTO, Acharya will be instrumental in propelling SPNI's digital goals forward. He will focus on aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring that both linear and digital platforms benefit from cutting-edge innovations. Reporting to Managing Director Gaurav Banerjee, he aims to guide Sony LIV's evolution into its next phase of growth.
