Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has set ambitious goals to escalate the state's electronics manufacturing sector to a global level. On Monday, he emphasized the need for officials to amplify production capabilities to match worldwide market demands.

Naidu reviewed the Electronics Components Manufacturing Policy 4.0 and directed the development of local production hubs to reduce imports and boost exports, aiming to position the state as a leader in electronics manufacturing. He identified certain areas as optimal for establishing electronics industries, amidst India's massive $70 billion importation of circuit boards last year.

The Chief Minister underscored the state's competitive edge over cities like Bengaluru and Chennai due to land availability, envisioning $100 billion in investments and robust industrial systems. Naidu's directive extends to fostering entrepreneurship, creating employment hubs, and setting up IT firms across key cities to generate significant jobs for the youth, ensuring alignment with national industrial goals.
