Infosys Launches Advanced Tech Centre in Hubballi

Infosys, a major player in the IT sector, announced on Wednesday the opening of a new Centre for Advanced AI, Cybersecurity, and Space Technology at its Hubballi hub in Karnataka. This strategic move positions Hubballi as a key technology hub for Infosys, bolstering the company's local workforce to over 1,000 employees.
The inauguration was attended by Karnataka's Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, M B Patil, alongside Minister for Electronics, IT & Biotechnology, Priyank Kharge. The centre is integrated into the broader 'Infosys Living Labs' network, a global ecosystem of more than 12 centers, and is dedicated to developing innovative digital solutions for a diverse, worldwide clientele, according to Infosys.
Specializing in cutting-edge technology fields like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, engineering services, SAP, and space technology, the new hub is set to serve multiple industries including manufacturing, financial services, retail, and healthcare. As Infosys strengthens its footprint in North Karnataka, reaching a milestone of over 1,000 employees, M B Patil encouraged the company to consider extending its business operations into other districts, enhancing regional growth and industry-academia collaboration.
